We’ve identified several important problems people have that can be solved by extending and applying cognitive science.
We intend to significantly improve the way millions of people address these problems.
Steve Jobs described Apple® as being at the intersection of technology and humanities. He spoke of making "a dent in the universe". Our company adds broad cognitive science —the modern science of the human mind—to these constraints. "Broad" is to emphasize that we are not merely concerned with traditionally cognitive, "dry", information processing, but also with motivation, emotions and self-regulation.
We use cognitive science to build simple, beautiful, psychologically potent apps that improve your well-being and productivity.
To put it differently, our apps are designed to help you exploit the mechanisms of your own mind.
Our first app is mySleepButton®, available for iPhone®, iPad® and Android. This app is designed to help you fall asleep (or back to sleep). It is based on one of our contributions to cognitive science. It proves the concept of CogSci Apps™.
In 2017, we will release a new type of app that will radically improve your ability to apply knowledge. Stay cognitively tuned :) .
