Announcing Versions 1.0 and 1.1 of Hook Productivity App for macOS: An App that Links your Digital Life
Hook productivity app for macOS hit the 1.0 “golden master” milestone on July 13, as announced on Hook’s productivity blog.
Response to Hook has been very favorable! Mac users recognize it as a very original useful Mac app with a simple but powerful user interface. For example, Cult of Mac wrote:
This is such a fantastic, simple idea that it seems like it should be built into every computer.
This has helped spread the word about Hook, given that Cult of Mac gets 2.6 million page views per month and has 750k followers on Twitter.
We haven’t had time to collate the praise we have received for Hook. Check out the productivity forum for more information.
Since then, we’ve already released version 1.1 of the Hook app, with new features and fixes, and then version 1.1.1 of the app.
Co-Founder Luc Beaudoin writes:
We are confident that the unfolding of our product road map — which leverages over a decade of our own R&D, and many years of cognitive science (some of which is reviewed in my Cognitive Productivity books) — will continue to pleasantly surprise and inspire cognitive productivity enthusiasts.
